I am Jude. I am in the fourth grade. I love to play Minecraft and Madden 15. I am a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. I am currently in a basketball league, and I’m still trying to convince my parents to let me play football. I am pretty good at spelling, as a matter of fact, I was the winner of my fourth-grade class spelling bee. A few years ago, I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia and my only cure was a bone marrow transplant. Luckily, my brother, Joshua was a match and donated his bone marrow to help save my life.
After 5 years of being cancer-free, my leukemia relapsed and I needed an unrelated bone marrow donor. My chance of finding a match was much more challenging because I am mixed race, Filipino and Caucasian. I found my perfect 10 out of 10 and had my transplant in September 2015.
