Hi Gigi, It doesn’t matter where you live in the States. If you are found to be a match, the blood would be collected in a local hospital. Any amount of common ancestry increases the odds that you will be a match, so yes, please register: https://www.aadp.org/learn/homekit/

Hello, I am of Guamanian decent but do have some Filipino decent. I took a blood sample last year to see if I was a match for my sister who has cancer. I wonder if you could check this results to see if I’d be a match for your baby? Either way, praying for Divine healing for your precious baby and that a match will be found soon.
Hi Joy,
Great question. It will take Be The Match lab 6 to 8 weeks to identify your HLA Antigens and list them on the Registry. Once on the registry, you are searchable.

I have two sons but are not 100 % Filipino. What percentage do you need. They are mixed with Hispanic blood.

I am Fil-Am as well. I just request a kit, and hopefully it doesn’t take as long as I have read on either end.
Carol says
Your kit was mailed out yesterday, from CA. You should have it soon. Thank you.
