When I heard about the opportunity to volunteer for an organization named AADP, which helps patients with leukemia, it immediately struck a cord with me.

My toddler nephew had passed away from cancer. I began to help AADP spread the word about the great need to register minority donors, because minority patients have a difficult time finding a match.I then started helping more by bringing their message to local minority communities. There is no nobler cause than doing everything you can to save a life, and there is no better feeling than knowing you dedicated yourself to helping a person in need somewhere in the world. AADP gave me both of those.
