Kenji is super active these days for a 3-year-old, just like every other kid his age. He loves robots and his little brother. And when we bring him to the park, he looks for people to play with. He usually likes older kids who can play with him. So he is very social. He is fearless. We brought him to the fire station with a few other kids, and he hugged the fireman in all his gear and gas mask without fear. Other kids were crying and clinging to their mom. However, he has been diagnosed with SAMD9L. This condition is considered pre-cancer. Cancer has popped up in the family a few times, so the doctors would like Kenji to have a stem cell transplant as soon as possible. Kenji has a new little brother, but he is not a match, so we are asking the public to help us find a donor to help Kenji. Kenji is Chinese, and his most likely donor will be Chinese.
